Who is Dr. MacDonnell?

Dr. William "Bill" MacDonnell is a dentist anesthesiologist. He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry and completed a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in NeuroAnesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. MacDonnell's patient population includes all types of patients - especially those who are medically compromised and dental phobic.

He has been a member of the UCONN School of Dental Medicine clinical faculty since 1978. He continues to lecture and teach conscious sedation, local anesthesia and medical emergencies. He was an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the University of Connecticut Health Center and served as a staff anesthesiologist at the John Dempsey University Hospital for six years before going into private practice.
